This allows complete attention for all situations. Something as easy as a jewelry change may require a bit of extra time to ensure a proper fit.

It's also important that we are able to address concerns, answer questions, and provide helpful info to you throughout your entire visit.

And hey, sometimes things may take longer than expected. This along with the time needed to properly clean & sanitize the procedure area between clients, is worked into the daily schedule.

I've been able to keep the same prices since 2020 and now, due to increased costs of fees, supplies, AA batteries, cheesecake, land in Montana, as well as body jewelry, I must raise prices to offset these increased costs.

CBA works exclusively with high quality, premium body jewelry that is crafted by some of the best jewelers and Body Jewelry manufacturers in the industry. Composed of implant grade materials, such as titanium, niobium, and 18k-14k gold, our jewelry is bio-inert.

Unlike "costume jewelry" which is barely safe to be worn ON the body, our jewelry is safe for long-term wear IN the body.

If you have jewelry sensitivities and struggle to find jewelry to wear in your piercings that won't cause you discomfort, contact dermatitis, reactions, or other issues, then I have some materials that'll work for you!

Quality jewelry plays a crucial role in the healing of fresh piercings. Even in healed piercings, poor quality jewelry can cause issues.

Premium body jewelry may cost a few bucks more than the 'costume jewelry' that some places sell, but it will last infinitely longer. Your piercing will heal faster, your healed piercing will remain feeling awesome, and the polished shine of quality jewelry will last longer! The majority of our jewelry carries a lifetime quality guarantee.

Body jewelry prices vary greatly as they are determined by the material, design, style, and size of each individual piece.

Jewelry is sold per piece and prices can vary greatly. Material, style, design, and gem orientation are all factors.

"Basic" titanium and niobium jewelry are typically in the range of $30-80.

Upscale titanium and niobium pieces typically start around $90.

For jewelry with intricate design, as well as our gold jewelry, the prices may vary.

I'm Chuck, the owner & piercer at CBA. Born and raised in Fargo, ND, I have been piercing professionally in the Fargo/Moorhead/West Fargo area since 1999.

What lead to the opening CBA, you ask? Buckle up, and I'll give you the 'hole' story... (ayy-oo!)

In 1996, I was excused from a class in my Sophomore year of high school so that I could get my first tattoo at Sterling Rose in Fargo, ND. (Rest in peace Joy Mulvihill)
In 1998, I turned 18 and was a regular at Sterling Rose. Whether getting a piercing, a tattoo, scheduling a tattoo, buying jewelry, or just stopping in to say hello, I was in there a lot!
In Fall 1998, I was attending MSUM while working at a local restaurant as well as playing drums in local band. All this time, my tattoo and piercing collections were growing and in the
In Spring of '99, Sterling Rose offered me an apprenticeship which I gladly accepted. Sterling Rose had a reputation of solid work and clean practice as well as involvement with the local health department in modifying and developing Body Art regulations. These elements were seminal in shaping my professional ethics. I was lucky to have landed such a gig! Upon completing my apprenticeship, I stayed with Sterling Rose for an additional two years.

In 2002, opened Dead RockStar in Fargo, ND. As part owner of a family run business, it was at Dead RockStar where I pushed my body art career further. I became more involved in the international professional piercing community. Continued my experience and education via annual classes, conferences, expos, etc.

I also began doing more community outreach in the form of public speaking. Sometimes offering interviews or professional opinions on safety related body art issues or concerns. I began working closely with Cass County Public Health in order to review and revise county/ND state body art regulations as well as develop new ones for events or procedures that have evolved in the body art industry.

2004- Scarification/Body Branding: I learned this practice from Fakir Musafar. It was the first time anything like it had been offered in ND or the FM area. Body branding is a form of scarification utilizing heat to leave a "designer scar" on the skin. Not for everybody but very fitting for some! I offered this service until 2014.

2007-APP: Association of Professional Piercers (safepiercing.org) I joined the APP as the first member in North Dakota. I remained a 'Member in Good Standing' until 2020. Once I left Dead RockStar in ND and moved to MN to open CBA, my APP membership became void. Don't worry, I'll get back in soon!!
2014 Rough Rider Ink & Iron I had an idea to put on a Body Art Convention in Fargo, ND. I teamed up with a local promoter and we put on the very first Rough Rider Ink & Iron Expo. I helped put together the 2nd Rough Rider in 2015 as well.
Early 2020: I had decided to leave the body art industry and then, Covid hit. I had a few months to really figure out what I needed to do career wise. I decided I wanted to continue piercing but that I needed a new setting and landscape.
December 4th, 2020: CBA With keys in hand, the building was mine! I went right to work doing some demo. Soon, I had some new walls up, electrical upgraded, plumbing expanded & a few coats of paint slapped on. Then, a badass floor was put down.
February 12th, 2021: CBA opens to the public!!
